Installation Guide

Fig 1. Lay a normal 10mm bed of mortar. Use trowel to cut back mortar approximately 15mm from the face of the Tilebrick unit.

Do not put up multiple course corners first

Fig 2. The vertical perpend joints are tapered and therefore only need to be buttered from the rear covering approximately 2/3rds of the end.

Fig 3. The Tilebrick units should be spaced 1mm apart at the front face with no mortar visible.

*2/3rds mortar coverage as shown in Fig 2.

Fig 4. Lay one course at a time and lay the string line to the front edge of the brick. Check cross-levels frequently to prevent tilting.

Fig 5. Use a designation (iii) mix and a well-graded building sand.

Fig 6. Lead with the outer skin of Tilebrick (if insulation type allows) to ensure vertical joints are well filled on the rear face.
