BrickShield External Wall Insulation SystemBrickShield is an external wall insulation system that uses a highly durable and unique Rockwool Insulation board and real brick slips. Available in almost any brick finish, BrickShield allows a building to be thermally upgraded whilst remaining in keeping with the existing streetscape. BrickShield can improve a building’s U value very significantly up to 0.25 W/m2K or better, eliminate cold bridges and trial houses have shown a saving in gas and electricity bills of 26% and 9% respectively. An externally applied system, BrickShield requires minimal maintenance unlike render and causes little disruption to the home occupier during installation.
