Product Launch

The Manor Range

This new wirecut brick is the latest product to come out of our Stourbridge factory. The product features a 'Cut & Rollback' texture which creates an embossed surface giving greater depth to the brick face. The Manor Range is available in 5 colours which are of a varied and vibrant colour palette.

Colours range from light orange and tans through to weathered reds, with highlights of cream and black which are complemented by a strong weathered buff multi. The random colour distribution gives a more natural look allowing the range to be used on the same development giving interest and variation whilst maintaining an overall theme.

Elementix Freedom Chosen for New Flagship Sustainable Building

A £7.5 million building at the University of the West of England displays Ibstock's Elementix Freedom. The product was chosen to be used on the project partly because of its ease of construction which was essential for a project on a tight timescale, its excellent design flexibility which removed the constraints typically associated with other products and because of its exceptional sustainability credentials. With over 93% recycled content, Elementix Freedom was an obvious choice for a building incorporating the most up to date building practices.

Ibstock Offer Alternative to Charnwood Natural Red

Mancunian Red

Following the discontinuation of the Charnwood Natural Red brick, Ibstock are pleased to offer the Arcadian Orange and the Mancunian Red as alternative products. Both products are currently available so please ring your local sales representative for further information.

The Image Bank

The Image Bank is a unique service offered by Ibstock which allows registered users to have instant access to both 'panel' and 'in work' image shots. This is of benefit to the user as it can help with the specification process and planning application submissions. Sustainability

Sustainability is a key issue at Ibstock and one which we take very seriously. Our commitment to sustainability has been recently demonstrated when we received a 'Very Good' rating in BES 6001 across all of our factories, making us the first brick maker to achieve this. This means that if you use our bricks you can gain extra Ecopoints and achieve more credits under the Code for Sustainable Homes.

BES 6001 means that our products have not only been made with responsibly sourced materials but that all aspects of the manufacturing process including supply chain management and environmental and social implications have been considered. Over 40% (26 million gallons at full output) of all process water used is recovered, all waste up to the kiln firing stage is recycled which saves on average 45 thousand tonnes of primary aggregate each year and our spent quarry sites are used for landfill which generates 13.6 MW of electricity (enough to power 100,000 homes) which equates to self-sufficiency in electricity consumption.
